Adjetivos

What are adjectives?

Adjectives are words that describe nouns or pronouns. They add more information, description and meaning to the subject in the sentence. Adjectives can be placed before or after the noun depending on which grammar rules apply. These words do not necessary follow an easy to identify form or pattern and can have many variations and types of endings. Adjectives cover many types of descriptions. For example; colour, size, age, texture, emotion, contrasts (hot and cold, high and low), state of being (upset and happy) etc. The examples below should be helpful to understand adjectives.
